The categories and tags were confusing so I did a lot of deleting and merging. Tags should now point to individual characters and pairings, categories to game series. There’s still a lot of tagging to do with the old art so my system isn’t foolproof yet. A name tag can bring up a whole gallery instead of an individual pic post.

I brought back some old girl art too, this site is still dedicated mostly to yaoi and men, but since I tend to swing both ways and enjoy het art, I may start drawing some girls again and post them here.

Got rid of the non-art nonsese too, I’ll keep this category for news accompanied by doodles and random scribbles. I should probably mention that all Assassin’s Creed 2 art will be postponed till I get my inspiration back, I love the game, I play it often, but I see no slash in it at all. Leonardo? I’m sure he pleases most of you slashers out there, but he was a huge disappointment to me. I find uncle Mario sexier than Leo. So, I’ll be working on Sengoku Musou 3 and FF7: Advent Children till I get my Assassins kink back on. Probably have to go back to Malik and Altair.

It’s been a while, so I figured I should post something. My PC is back in order (never upgrading Vista to SP2 ever again!), I honestly can’t tell the difference between an ancient Wacom Grapphire 3 and the new Intuos 4, so there’s no problem with starting new art, BUT, I suck at calibrating monitors. I’ve ordered a device and software that should help, but as usual, there’s a delay in the delivery. I feel reluctant to start a big painting before I know that what I see is what I get.

This, however, is Nenja’s Crack Pairing Meme – or at least the first 4 pictures of it. Only 10 more to go! I have no idea how it looks in your monitor, hopefully not too dark or saturated.

I had time to draw in the dark while waiting for the power to come back. Thank god for mobile internet! Chibishit style just happened. Colored and texted on my old trusty PC.

(Musounator is a random story generator, it’s not supposed to make too much sense and it’s not “intelligent” English because it’s a script.)

So this was supposed to be my “solo Cloud quickie painting”, but I got carried away… I had so much fun with Cloud’s pants that they ended up being too detailed for the rest of the painting, so I had to repaint Cloud with more details. And then I decided to add Seph because the pic needed more stuff. Stream of consciousness guides my pen…

*EDIT: After calibrating my new monitor with Spyder3 Express, I did some adjusting to the colors and a stronger background.

Sephiroth x Cloud Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I’m sorry that my first fanart piece for this year is nothing extreme. I’m trying to learn a decent quickie style which will allow me to finish a painting in one day, instead of the usual week or two. Quantity will be more important this year than quality! I’ve got to satisfy my fanart urges this year or I will blow up…

The original idea for this painting was Cloud’s painful butt-rape while falling down into HELL in Sephiroth’s arms. Yes, I’m serious. But unfortunately/luckily I have an extraordinary ability to mess up my original idea during the painting process. Sorry.

No, I don’t hate Cloud, I love him, but I also want to see him abused by Sephiroth.

Photoshop CS, Wacom Graphire 3, two layers, one day, bristle- & airbrush, reference used for facial features and clothing. Using reference for poses and anatomy is smart, but I HATE to search for free stock photos to use as reference!

Look! I actually found a scene with Cloud falling! Too bad the whole scene is blurry.

It’s strange that I’ve done nudes and porn online for 5 years and never been reported for violating any terms of service, but when I do one Cloud with his clothes on, the picture is instantly reported! If Final Fantasy VII fanart is this much trouble, it must be really important and I’ll be happy to reward you with lots and lots of naked Clouds and Sephiroths! After a second reported painting you’ll get NARUTO PORN! Yes! But please, third report will give you Kingdom Hearts and I really really don’t want to slash Goofy with anyone. So grow up and get a life.

I was supposed to finish this painting way before Assassin’s Creed 2 premiere day, but sadly I had to work on other things. I don’t know if it matters though; we can’t just forget about Altair and Malik simply because there’s a new game out, right? At least I can’t! Malik just breaks my heart. He’s got more personality than your average sideshow Bob and a brilliant voice actor to really bring him alive and make him unforgettable.

Alright, about the pic… Technique: Photoshop CS, “rough” airbrushes and fabric texture brushes. Reference used: photos of myself. ;^_^ Yes, I’m a woman, but reference is about getting the general idea of the pose – not painting over photos.
