This painting started off as a Photoshop brush practise piece, the blueish pic is the the raw. "Bristle" brush turned out to be both usable and annoying. It makes a nice watercolorish, rough texture that blends well on low flow and opacity, but at least my drawing tablet didn't work with small brush size under 8 px, so it was really hard to paint/draw any details with it. The bigger picture is the working size and shows the brush strokes if you're interested. I admit that I used smudge and the hard round brush for the hair because Bristle made ... Malik Al-Sayf Fanart

I'm like two years behind with my Assassin's Creed fanart because AC 2 is going to be out soon and then nobody will remember Malik! :( Malik is the guy who lost his arm at the beginning of the game and ended up leading the Assassins' Bureau in Jerusalem. If you have a problem with amputees, go see a shrink. If you dislike chest hair, don't click the hairy version (mouse-over the thumbnails for a description).
I tried but the likeness is not perfect. I'll post technical information on DeviantArt if you are interested in the making of hardships.

Inspired by Sengoku BASARA animation, episode 1: Masamune and Kojurou talking under the blossoming sakura tree at sunset and the strange song "Ur" by DJ Tiesto. Not typical DJ music, I used to skip that song on my playlist but when I heard it while I was painting this pic, the singer's tired voice and confused feelings were perfect for Masamune (who looks kind of confused [but pleased] in my pic)

New random Dynasty Warriors (or Three Kingdoms) story generator is available as a clean PG-rated and a corrupted R-rated version! The random sentences may be idiotic and the adult version isn't always adult, but some of the stories are quite hilarious:
